Josh loves to create art. Whether it’s painting, drawing, carving, you name it… he loves it. He can create the most beautiful art pieces from scraps of wood most people would throw away.

Mom’s birthday was fast approaching, and he wanted to create something unique for her. We had a tree in the front yard that required some trimming, and we were left with a long stump on one side. Josh saw that stump as a piece of art and cut off a section.

He sanded, and sanded…

Slowly, Josh’s idea came to life…

After some time outside to allow the Texas critters to move out of their wood home, it now sits proudly on Mom’s fireplace!
